MC MUD 47

Within the boundaries of The Woodlands Township, the MUD 47 board is having a hotly contested election.  Four candidates are running for 3 available seats.  The Texas Patriot recommends the following candidates: Mark Unland, Cynthia Ullman and Laura Norton based on their attempts to better represent residents’ interests, make the MUD more transparent so that residents know what is going on, and to make it easier for residents to have a voice in MUD activities. While their opponent didn’t respond to our vetting form, he has posted to his social media page that he is for spending taxpayer dollars for an developer-managed engineering study to explore construction of a high-density housing complex in the northwest section of MUD 47 .
