The Texas Patriots PAC recommends Ryan Sitton for Railroad Commission. 

Ryan Sitton is a one-term incumbent on the Railroad Commission.  The name of this Commission is misleading; the Railroad Commission of Texas is the state agency with primary regulatory jurisdiction over the oil and natural gas industry, pipeline transporters, natural gas and hazardous liquid pipeline industry, natural gas utilities, the LP-gas industry, and coal and uranium surface mining operations.  Mr. Sitton is a mechanical engineer who has worked in the oil and gas industry his entire professional career.  With the Permian Basin now producing enough oil to make the US the top producer of crude oil in the world, high profile economic and environmental issues are more commonly debated by the Commission.  Other commissioners on the board have acknowledged that Mr. Sitton’s professional background has contributed to the Board’s understanding and discussion of the issues.

Jim Wright is also running for Railroad Commissioner; we see no path to victory for his campaign.
